Saginaw River Passages - July 28th

The tug Undaunted, with barge Pere Marquette 41, was inbound on the Saginaw River Wednesday afternoon, headed for the Wirt Stone dock in Saginaw to unload. The pair was followed a few hours later by the Olive L. Moore - Lewis J. Kuber, who were also headed up to the Saginaw area to unload at the Lafarge Stone Dock in saginaw. The Moore-Kuber finished unloading overnight and were outbound for the lake Thursday morning. The Undaunted - PM41 were outbound for the lake Thursday evening after taking on a cargo of sand at the Sargent dock in Zilwaukee. It is very rare for a vessel to load a cargo here on the Saginaw River.
