Saginaw River Passages - December 14th & 15th

Friday saw the arrival of two vessels on the Saginaw River.  First in was the Manitowoc, who unloaded at the Bay City Wirt Stone dock.  By the evening, she had finished, turned in the Wirt basin, and was outbound for the lake.  The tug Olive L. Moore, with her barge, Lewis J. Kuber, were inbound to take Manitowoc's place at the Bay City Wirt dock shortly after her departure.  After discharging a partial cargo in Bay City, the Moore-Kuber continued upriver to finish unloading at the Wirt Stone dock in Saginaw.  The pair were outbound Saturday afternoon.
