The fourth commercial vessel to arrive on the Saginaw River on a busy June 1st, the tug Sharon M I and self-unloading barge Huron Spirit were to unload in the slip at Port Fisher for Bay Aggregates, but that spot was already occupied by Defiance/Ashtabula. The pair continued a short distance upriver, tying up at the Port Fisher Terminals Dock to wait their turn in the slip. Once Defiance/Ashtabula departed Monday morning and the inbound American Courage cleared upbound, the pair went back downriver, entered the slip, and began their unload for Bay Aggregates just before 7am.
