The Olive L. Moore - Lewis J. Kuber were inbound the Saginaw River on Wednesday with a split cargo for the Essexville Lafarge dock and the Zilwaukee Sargent dock. The pair were outbound Thursday morning.
Mississagi was Inbound on Thursday,calling on the Buena Vista dock in Saginaw. She was outbound later in the day.
Calumet was inbound Friday afternoon, calling on the GM dock in Saginaw. She was expected to be outbound early Saturday morning. Indiana Harbor called on the Consumers Energy dock very early Saturday morning to unload. She was expected to be outbound later in the morning.
It was foggy in Greenbush on Wed at 2:45 pm. I heard a freighter going by, but could not see it. It sounded like the Kuber-Moore as I have heard it before. What time did the Kuber-Moore arrive in Bay City on 8/11?

ReplyDeleteNot sure what time the Moore-Kuber actually arrived, but it must have been sometime during the late evening I would guess. It is hard to mistake the sound of the diesel on the Moore!
