Saginaw River Passage - December 10th

Algoma Compass called on the Saginaw River Friday morning, heading up to the GM Stone Dock in Saginaw to unload.  This was her first visit under her current name and under the Canadian flag for Algoma Central.  The last time the vessel was on the Saginaw River, she was sailing for the American Steamship Company as the Adam E. Cornelius, delivering to the Port Fisher/Bay Aggregates Dock on November 24, 2009.

Saginaw River Passage - December 9th - Part 2

Minervagracht arrived on the Saginaw River Thursday afternoon, calling on the Port Fisher Terminals Dock in Bay City. She was assisted to the dock by the tug Wisconsin, making her first ever visit to the Saginaw River. Minervagracht arrived with wind turbine components in the holds, and an interesting deck cargo, consisting of pleasure craft, one motor and one sail.
