Saginaw River Passage - November 30, 2024: American Courage

American Courage was inbound on the Saginaw River Saturday morning, after anchoring out in Saginaw Bay near Light #1 while waiting for the weather to improve and winds to subside.  American Courage headed up to the Burroughs North - GM Dock in Saginaw to unload.  She turned and as back outbound for the lake Saturday night.

Northern Venture was on the Saginaw River, traveling up to the Burroughs North - GM Dock in Saginaw to unload.  She was turned and outbound for the lake Friday afternoon, passing by Downtown Bay City when these photos were taken.

Saginaw River Passage - November 29, 2024: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder

Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder back on the Saginaw River for the third time in the past seven days. This time, dropping the entire cargo at the Wirt Stone Dock in Bay City. Pretty uninspired photos on another grey day with little sunshine....







Saginaw River Passage - November 28, 2024 - Olive L. Moore/Menominee

Olive L. Moore/Menominee were on the Saginaw River Thanksgiving Day, delivering a split cargo to the Bay Aggregates Dock in Bay City and the ACE/Saginaw Asphalt - Crow Island Dock in Saginaw.  I captured the pair at Lafayette Bridge in Bay City as they were headed upbound for Saginaw.

Candace Elise visited the Saginaw River on Thanksgiving Day, pushing two empty deck barges, D2002 & D2006, to the Port Fisher Terminals dock in Bay City.

Saginaw River Passage - November 24, 2024: Saginaw - Part 3 of 3

For this last set of photos, I left the drone in the case and just used the trusty Canon DSLR.  A few shots near the Essexville Range Lights and the bulk of the shots at Cass Avenue.  










Saginaw River Passage - November 27, 2024: Robert S. Pierson

After spending nearly 24 hours anchored out in Saginaw Bay near Light 1 of the Entrance Channel due to weather conditions, Robert S. Pierson was inbound on the Saginaw River this morning, entering the slip at Port Fisher to unload for Bay Aggregates.  Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder, who had been waiting on weather at the Burroughs North - GM Dock in Saginaw after unloading coal there, were also able to turn around this morning and head outbound for the lake.
