Saginaw River Passages - November 3rd & 4th

Thursday saw the Olive L. Moore - Lewis J. Kuber call on the Wirt Stone dock in Bay City to unload. Once the pair had finished, they traveled upriver to turn at the Airport Turning Basin, then headed back through Bay City and out to the lake. The tug Spartan, with tank barge Spartan II called on the Dow Chemical Oxy Dock in Bay City on Thursday. The pair unloaded overnight and departed for the lake Friday morning. This was the first visit by the pair to the Saginaw River since being renamed from the Mark Hannah. Algorail was inbound Friday afternoon, headed for the Sargent dock in Zilwaukee to unload. She was expected to be outbound Saturday morning.
