Saginaw River Passage - April 30th

The Olive L. Moore - Lewis JKuber closed out the month of April on the Saginaw River this afternoon, calling on the Bay Aggregates dock in Bay City to unload.  The pair was outbound for the lake later in the day.  The month ended with eight commercial vessel deliveries, six more than April of 2014, when there were two.  You could blame the extreme ice conditions last year for the slow start, but looking back a year earlier, there were only three vessel passages in April of 2013, so however you look at it,  2015 looks to be off to a fairly encouraging start.
