Saginaw River Passages - May 6th & 7th

Friday morning saw the heavy lift vessel, HAPPY RANGER, calling on the Port Fisher dock in Bay City.  She arrived with a cargo of wind turbine blades for a local wind farm project.  After finishing her unload, HAPPY RANGER departed the dock early Saturday evening, and was headed outbound on the Saginaw River for the lake.

Saturday evening also saw the arrival of the OLIVE L. MOORE - LEWIS J. KUBER, calling on the Wirt Stone Dock in Bay City, to unload.  Once finished, the pair traveled upriver to the Airport Turning Basin, turned, and were outbound for the lake, early Sunday morning.
