Commercial shipping on the Saginaw River has been on the rebound so far in 2015.  For the month of June, there were 20 commercial vessel passages.  That is six more than during the same month last year, when there were 14, and two more than the five year average.  For the year to date, there have been 45 commercial vessel passages on the Saginaw River.  This number is twenty more than in 2014, when there were only 25, and five more than the five year average.  July has started out strong as well with two deliveries so far in the first two days of July.
