Saginaw River Report - August 2021 Passages

There were a total of 23 commercial vessel passages on the Saginaw River for the month of August, with 12 docks receiving 28 separate deliveries of product, accounting for split cargos delivered to multiple docks.  This represents five fewer passages than in August 2020, and is less than the the 5-year average of 25 passages.  It is more than the 10-year average of 21, and equal to 15-year average of 23 passages, however.

For the total number of commercial vessel passages for the year-to-date, the number is 100.  This number represents a decrease of 22 passages over the total from last year at this point.  Looking at the averages, it is an increase as compared to the 5-year average of 97 passages, 10-year average of 86, and the 15-year average of 94 passages.
