Saginaw River Passage - May 27, 2023

Mark W. Barker called on the Saginaw River late Saturday night, travelling upriver to unload at the GM Dock in Saginaw. This was the first ever visit for the Mark W. Barker on the Saginaw River.

Saginaw River Passage - May 25, 2023 - Part 2

On May 25th, Laura L. Vanenkevort - Joseph H. Thompson called on the Saginaw River to unload at the Saginaw Rock Products/Burroughs Saginaw Dock. With their arrival, there were three tug/barge combos on the Saginaw River and all three were within sight of each other when Vanenkevort/Thompson were outbound, passing Olive L. Moore/Menominee and G.L. Ostrander/Integrity in Essexville.

Saginaw River Passage - May 22, 2023

After being pushed by the tug Leonard M. last season, the tug Sharon MI returned to the notch of the barge Huron Spirit for 2023, as the pair arrived on the Saginaw River, backing into the slip at Port Fisher to unload for Bay Aggregates.

Algoma Compass inbound on the Saginaw River, headed to the Burroughs North Dock in Essexville.  She was the third vessel inbound on May 10, with Samuel de Champlain/Innovation and H. Lee White both unloading the the same general area of the river, as you can see in the wide angle photo.
