Saginaw River Passages - May 2nd - 5th

The Olive L. Moore - Menominee called on the Port Fisher/Bay Aggregates dock on Wednesday to unload. The pair were outbound later that night. Friday saw the arrival of the Walter J. McCarthy, Jr., calling on the Consumers Energy Dock in Essexville, to unload coal. Once finished, the McCarthy backed from the dock and out into the Saginaw Bay to turn around and head for the lake. The Olive L. Moore - Menominee were back again early Saturday morning, becoming the first commercial vessel of the season to travel all of the way up the Saginaw River. The pair called on the last dock at the end of the shipping channel, the Lafarge Stone Dock in Saginaw.
