St. Clair River - June 23, 2026: CSL Assiniboine

I recently spent a week camping at Lakeport State Park near Port Huron, so naturally, I had to spend some time taking photos along the St. Clair River.  Over the next few weeks, I will be sliding in photos from that trip.  Starting at the beginning on June 23rd, was CSL Assiniboine at the Blue Water Bridge.

 

Saginaw River Passage - June 29, 2026: Sharon M I/Huron Spirit

Sharon M I/Huron Spirit were inbound on the Saginaw River Monday morning, a few hours behind their fleet mate, Manitoulin, who was unloading at the Wirt Stone Dock in Bay City.  Sharon M I/ Huron Spirit backed into the slip at Port Fisher and unloaded for Bay Aggregates.  The pair were still in the slip as of Tuesday morning.  Photos taken 6/29/26

Saginaw River Passage - June 29, 2026: Manitoulin

Back on the Saginaw River for the third time since June 21st, Manitoulin was inbound on Monday morning with a split cargo for the Wirt Stone Docks in Bay City and Saginaw.  The first of two McKeil vessels on the river Monday morning, with Sharon M I/Huron Spirit arriving a few hours later, Manitoulin completed her unload turned and was outbound later in the evening.  Photos taken 6/29/26
