Saginaw River Report - May 2021

There were a total of 24 commercial vessel passages on the Saginaw River for the month of May, with 10 docks receiving product accounting for split loads.  This is one fewer passage than in May 2020, but more than the 5-year average of 19 passages, 10-year average of 17, and 15-year average of 18.

For the total number of commercial vessel passages for the year-to-date, the number is 34.  This number represents a decrease of 5 passages over the total from last year at this point.  Looking at the averages, it is a decrease as compared to the 5-year average of 27 passages, equal to the 10-year average of 24, and below the 15-year average of 28 passages.
