Saginaw River Passage - September 14, 2026: Herbert C. Jackson - Part 2

The third post today of catch-up photos. This was Herbert C. Jackson inbound on the Saginaw River, passing Alpena at Amrize and about to pass Saginaw as well for all three boats together in one place. Catching up on some photos taken, but never posted, here is Saginaw on her namesake river, passing Alpena at Amrize Cement on her way to the Wirt Sand & Stone Dock in Essexville.  Saginaw is due back here again today, her third trip in a row to the Saginaw River during the past six days.  These photos were taken on 9/4/26.

These are the moments that you dream of catching.  Why you become a "Boatnerd".  To have three vessels on the Saginaw River is rare, but three classics with a combined 224 years of service?  It might never happen again.  It was so amazing to see in person!  So, here they are, my photos of Herbert C.
