Saginaw River Throwback

While there is not much going on with winter upon us, today, on a February day where it was over 50 degrees and the Saginaw River is wide open, with no ice, I thought a throwback to 2013, when the river did have ice, was in order. Here the steamer Alpena is seen inbound for the Lafarge Cement dock in Essexville.
