There were a total of 14 commercial vessel passages on the Saginaw River during the month of May. This represents an increase of one passage over the same time period last season. Looking at the 5-year average, May 2017 is right there, equal at 14 commercial vessel passages.
Looking at the total vessel passages for the year to date, there have been 18, the same number logged over the same time period in 2016. Compared to the 5-year average, the 18 passages in 2017, is one less than the average of 19.
