Saginaw River Passage - July 5, 2025: Algoma Buffalo
Algoma Buffalo made her first visit to the Saginaw River for the season on Saturday, bringing a split load to the Wirt Sand & Stone Dock in Essexville and the Wirt Stone Dock in Saginaw. After completing her unload Saturday afternoon, Algoma Buffalo lead a convoy of vessels out of the Saginaw River, including herself, Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder, and then Olive L. Moore/Menominee. They would pass Herbert C. Jackson, waiting at the Wirt Dock in Bay City, and then out to the lake. Herbert C. Jackson, once clear, traveled upriver to unload at the Burroughs North - GM Dock in Saginaw. Photos taken 7/5/25
