Saginaw River Passages - August 8th
Calumet completed her unload at the Lafarge Stone Dock in Essexville, late Wednesday morning, backed from the dock and into the Bay Aggregates slip, then turned for the lake. The Dann Marine tug, Colonel, departed the Saginaw River on Tuesday, after safely delivering the USS Edson from the Navy yard in Philidelphia to her new home in Bay City, a long journey and a job extremely well done.
