The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service vessel Spencer F. Baird arrived on the Saginaw River late Sunday afternoon, tying up at the Port Fisher Terminals Dock in Bay City. This is her annual spring visit to Saginaw Bay. Spencer F. Baird also makes a yearly fall visit as well. Spencer F. Baird is a research and fish restocking vessel, supporting the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's effort to restore depleted Lake Trout populations in the Great Lakes. Photos taken 6/7/26
