Samuel de Champlain/Innovation arrived on the Saginaw River Thursday evening, unloading overnight at the Holcim Cement Dock in Essexville. The pair finished unloading Friday afternoon and then waited for the upbound Sam Laud and the outbound Leonard M./Huron Spirit to clear, before turning around off the dock and heading for the lake.
