The tug Leonard M., pushing the self unloading barge Huron Spirit, arrived on the Saginaw River Friday morning, calling on the Port Fisher/Bay Aggregates Dock in Bay City to unload. The pair finished unloading and then departed the slip after the inbound Sam Laud cleared, Friday afternoon. Leonard M. is back to pushing Huron Spirit this season, continuing the rotation with the McKeil tug Sharon M I. Sharon M I handled Huron Spirit duties in 2021 and 2023, while Leonard M. had the job in 2022 and now in 2024.
