Saginaw River Passage - May 30, 2024: Happy Ranger

Happy Ranger was inbound on the Saginaw River Thursday morning, assisted to the Port Fisher Terminals Dock in Bay City by the tug North Dakota. Happy Ranger arrived with the second half of a shipment for Hemlock Semiconductor in Hemlock, Michigan. The first part of the shipment was delivered on November 17, 2023 by Minervagracht.

Saginaw River Passage - May 30, 2024: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder & G.L. Ostrander/Integrity

Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder were in the slip at Port Fisher, unloading for Bay Aggregates on Wednesday. It was their first visit of the season to the Saginaw River. Just across the river, G.L. Ostrander/Integrity were finishing up their unload at Holcim Cement in Essexville. Both vessels were outbound a short time later.

Saginaw River Passage - May 28, 2024: G.L. Ostrander/Integrity & Olive L. Moore/Menominee

Tuesday and Wednesday have been tug/barge days on the Saginaw River. G.L. Ostrander/Integrity arrived at the Holcim Cement Dock in Essexville on Tuesday to unload. The pair were followed by Olive L. Moore/Menominee, who arrived with a split load for the Wirt Stone docks in Bay City and Saginaw. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived late Tuesday night, pulling into the slip at Port Fisher to unload for Bay Aggregates, and Fischer Hayden/Justin Avery have been operating between the Port Fisher Terminals Dock and the Confined Disposal Island off the mouth of the Saginaw River, working on a project for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Saginaw River Passage - May 27, 2024: Sam Laud

Sam Laud inbound on the Saginaw River, carrying a split cargo for three different Docks: The Wirt Stone Docks in Bay City and Saginaw, as well as the Burroughs North - Zilwaukee Dock. She was inbound on Monday, unloading through the day and back outbound for the lake early Tuesday morning.
